Fayetteville, Arkansas – July 30, 2013 – A.R. “Sandy” Mahon has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Conference of Funeral Services Examining Boards. Mr. Mahon was officially appointed to fill the chair of District 8 Director, representing Alaska, Alberta, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, and his home province of Saskatchewan on June 7, 2013.
Mr. Mahon has served as Registrar of the Funeral and Cremation Services Council of Saskatchewan for the past 8 years. Mr. Mahon was previously a member of the Canadian Royal Mounted Police, proudly serving for 35 years. He received a certificate from St. Francis Xavier University in 1997.
The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards is headquartered in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
