The Fall 2020 NBE Scholarship Program is now open for submissions! The Conference Board of Directors typically draws five names in the spring and fall of each year, awarding a total of ten scholarships annually. However, The Conference is excited to partner with the Funeral Service Foundation, which is extending The Conference’s current NBE Scholarship Program to an additional 30 first-time NBE candidates this year. This brings the total to 35 scholarships that will be awarded to future funeral service licensees this fall.
To enter, candidates must submit a brief essay through The Conference’s website during the entry period of August 10 through September 1, 2020, with the drawing taking place on September 15, 2020. Eligibility is open to first-time NBE candidates that will graduate and sit for the NBE by September 15, 2021, limit one entry per candidate. Only those who meet the requirements will be entered into the drawing, with the selected recipients notified via email following the meeting.
