The Conference is excited to host a complimentary virtual learning session on Tuesday April 16th, 2024, at noon central time. The session titled, “Why Does Government Regulate the Professions?,” will be led by regulatory expert and Conference legal counsel, Dale Atkinson, and hosted via Zoom.

Please join your fellow regulators for a discussion on WHY government regulates the professions. This session will address the factors considered when legislatures enact laws that create and authorize a board to regulate a profession in the interest of public protection. It is imperative that regulators understand the basis for professional licensure and regulation. The Conference is pleased to present this opportunity for discussion!
