You may remember that back in the spring, The Conference accepted comments regarding the current edition of the Model Practice Act. All comments received were compiled and reviewed by the current Model Practice Act Committee. Over the last few months, the Committee diligently completed a review of the current publication and recommended the below changes for consideration by the membership.

 

The current version of the document was voted adopted in 2021. The goal of the 2024 committee was to evaluate the comments received, and the existing document based on current rationale regarding licensure, public protection, and the funeral profession, as a whole. In accordance with The Conference’s mission to promote uniformity in funeral service regulation through model documents, The Conference is now asking for your review of the committee’s updated 2024 draft and submission of any comments/questions.
