The Conference is initiating an important step in the National Board Exam (NBE) development process, and we need your help! We’re excited to announce the Job Task Analysis (JTA) Survey for the NBE is officially live. This survey, which is conducted every 5-7 years, will provide the foundation of the NBE. Participation by funeral service licensees representing different regions, types of business, specialties, practice settings, and years of experience is important to ensure that the survey results adequately represent the profession. The outcome directly reflects the content that appears on the NBE, so we encourage all eligible licensees to participate.
The survey will remain open February 24, 2022 – March 27, 2022.
Participant Requirements:
Licensed as a Funeral Director and/or Embalmer in the United States
Actively working in a funeral service facility
*By completing the survey, participants are not only giving back to the profession by participating in the most crucial stage of the NBE development process, but there is a chance to earn Continuing Education credit with your state and the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice.

*The Conference will notify state licensing boards of your completion of the JTA Survey by May 1, 2022. However, CE approval will vary by jurisdiction and may not be accepted in every state.
