FAYETTEVILLE, AR — The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards (ICFSEB) proudly announces that Kortney Adams has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

As District 1 Director, Adams will represent Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Nova Scotia, Rhode Island, and Vermont. She has been a part of The Conference community for more than six years representing the Nova Scotia Board of Registration of Embalmers and Funeral Directors.

She is a veteran attendee of The Conference’s Annual Meeting and has previously assisted on The Conference’s Model Application Review Committee.

“To add her regulatory experience, expertise and service to the board of directors brings depth to our international perspective and reinforces our commitment to progressive and common sense regulation,” ICFSEB Executive Director Dalene Paull said.

The appointment fills the vacancy left following the departure of Past President Robert Barnes. Her term will run through the entirety of 2024.
