The selected recipients will receive one complimentary NBE registration (Arts & Sciences - a $570 value), which must be used within one year from the notification of the award. The Harvey Leavitt, III scholarship is open to first-time NBE candidates that will be eligible to take the NBE Arts and Sciences exams prior to March 10, 2026, (limit one entry per candidate). Candidates must be a graduate of, or on track to graduate prior to scholarship expiration, from an ABFSE-accredited program. Candidates completing a certificate program with an affiliate program are NOT eligible to apply.
The scholarship entry form must be submitted directly by the candidate by 12:00 pm CDT on February 16, 2025. Please note that no refunds will be given if the recipient has already paid and/or sat for the exam prior to receiving the scholarship. The next scholarship opportunity will be available in the fall of 2025.

● Entries must be received by 12:00 pm CDT on February 16, 2025. ● Candidates must be on track to take the National Board Exam
for the first time
before March 10, 2026. Any unused NBE scholarships will expire on March 11, 2026. The scholarship will be forfeited if a selected candidate has already paid and/or sat for the exam prior to utilizing the scholarship funds. ● Prior to taking the NBE, recipients must be verified graduates of an ABFSE accredited program, will be required to read/agree to the terms of the NBE Candidate Handbook, and must submit an official NBE application. ● By submitting this form, I attest that the ABFSE program, its faculty, employees, staff, fellow students, or other individuals have not provided copyright protected National Board Examination (NBE) test item information to, nor solicited, asked for, or encouraged me to provide NBE protected information to the Program. I have not under any circumstance provided and will not provide NBE protected information to the Program, its faculty, employees, staff, my fellow students, or other individuals. I understand Candidates who violate these security standards will have their exam scores invalidated, be reported to their licensing board, and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The Conference Board of Directors reserves the right to require candidates found to have violated policies and/or procedures regarding access and administration of the exam program to seek and receive permission from the relevant member board before further access to such exam program. Candidates found guilty of a violation could face a range of administrative, civil, and criminal charges. I understand that if selected I will be granted access to the NBE for purposes of demonstration of entry level competence to be used by a relevant state board in making licensure determinations. ● I agree that The Conference may use my name, school information, and written submission (in whole, or in part) for use in educational and messaging pieces, or as it sees fit.
