#1 Verify Your Social Security Number is Correct

Any changes that need to be made after you have submitted your application may lead to a delay in processing.[/box]

#2 Verify Your Name is Correct
[box type=”info” style=”rounded” border=”full” icon=”none”]Please make sure your first and last name match your two forms of identification before proceeding. (Pearson VUE does not acknowledge middles names.) If your name does not match the two forms of identification presented at the testing center, you will not be allowed to take the exam resulting in a forfeiture of your authorization and exam fee. A new application and payment would be required to become re-authorized. Please note any updates or changes to your name may delay processing time of your application.[/box]

#3 Eligibility 
[box type=”info” style=”rounded” border=”full” icon=”none”]To be eligible to sit for the NBE you must be a verified graduate of an ABFSE-accredited mortuary science program. The Conference requires a verification of graduation or an official conferred transcripts in order to take the NBE. The verification of graduation and official transcript must be sent directly from the school.[/box]
